After a very successful first cycle of webinars, the Colégio de Pediatria started another cycle, this time dedicated to chronic diseases in pediatrics.
With very interesting and appealing themes, this cycle has already proved a real success. Yesterday was another webinar day, with the theme HIV in Pediatrics.
Infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is caused by the HIV-1 and HIV-2 viruses and, in young children, is usually acquired from the mother at birth.
When we talk about HIV, we often target this pathology only to adults, however, there are many children with this virus who need to undergo treatment and prevent infection.
Dedicated to training health professionals about such a crucial issue in our society, this session had more than 194 registrations and 260 views in less than 24 hours.
