The Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Angola (AGOA) maintains its commitment to work for the health of women in Angola, promoting in July 2020, the 1st Cycle of Webinars, under the theme "Challenges Present in Reproductive Health", with the support of Princefarma and Tecnosaúde organization.
Despite the current pandemic that conditions the logistics of any event, the 1st Cycle of Webinars 2020 brings a diversified and updated program, covering different areas of interest in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with the presence of distinguished speakers with knowledge and experience in the spotlight areas.
In a perspective of analysis and pertinent discussion, the second edition was marked by the theme "Maternal Mortality: Main Causes and Prevention", which reflects a public health problem during the gestation period. It is important and decisive to address this issue in order to consider, among other issues, the conditions present during childbirth, as well as errors/problems that arise throughout pregnancy and which are often likely to be avoided during prenatal consultations.
Panel's moderation was led by Dr. Paulo Campos, accompanied by the considerations and opinions of the distinguished speakers Dr. Francisco Quinto and Dr. Isabel Sesa.
Similar to the result of the first edition, the second session proved to be a success, with 264 registrations and more than 280 views in less than 24 hours.
