Objectives - With this training, the attendee should be able to:

  • Know the main substances that characterize the composition of dietary supplements that fit each group and its action in the body;
  • Acquire knowledge for distinguish the dietary supplements, herbal supplements and medical devices;
  • Promote the secure use of the food supplements available, adapting their use to each particular situation;
  • Identify situations of cross-selling, knowing the technical basis for selecting the most suitable supplement.

  • Active methods (case studies discussion and constant interaction with participants to consolidate the learned ideas and contents).

  • This training aims to involve all health professionals: pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants, nurses and assistants, managers and supervisors who exercise their activity in the field of the pharmacy.
