COVID-19 Pandemic: Update.

Covid-19: a disease worldwide spread by an enemy that isn’t seen and that has left its mark in all continents.

22 days after the first case of coronavirus news, Angola registers 19 cases, 2 deaths and 4 recovered. Prevention and security measures enacted by the State of Emergency on 27 March have promoted the reduction risk of spread as well as the awareness of the Angolan population towards this invisible enemy.

Covid-19 pandemic current panorama has been the focus of attention from all populations on different continents in the world. Since case number 1 in the Chinese city of Wuhan, in December 2019, to date, there have been globally 1,854,214 infected, 114,293 deaths and 428,082 recovered.

This viral outbreak started to spread in China, presenting the epicenter of the pandemic in Asia. Subsequently, due to the growing number of cases in Italy, France, Spain and other European countries, Europe became the pandemic focus. Currently, it is the city of New York in United States of America that registers the largest number of cases of infected and deaths by Covid-19 in the world, exceeding the number of infected in countries such as Italy and Spain.
