Currently, there is a worldwide spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which induces the Coronavirus disease, abbreviated, COVID-19. Although the focus of the pandemic is located in Europe, the African continent is also a target, with cases of people infected with the COVID-19 disease having been registered in different countries, including Angola.
The spread of this virus is enormous and preventive measures are emerging.
It´s important to understand that this virus is essentially spread by droplets when we sneeze or cough, so we should always do it for the arm and not for the hands.

It’s also crucial to follow the next recommendations given by World Health Organization: 
- Hand washing with soap, for 20 seconds, several times a day; 
- Avoid personal contact: our hands are the main means of transporting the virus; 
- Avoid crowds and avoid going out on the street whenever possible.

In case of infection, the main symptoms are fever, cough, muscle pain and in some cases, difficulty in breathing. In the presence of these symptoms, you should stay at home because it is known that 80% of cases are mild, without the need for hospital care. If your symptoms do not improve or you have difficulty breathing, you should contact the Integrated Public Security Center (CISP) at 111.
It is crucial to prevent this virus spread, thereby reducing the number of infected people.
