The use of the misoprostol molecule in obstetric and gynecological indications has been the subject of debate and some controversy in the last decade. The proof of this is that some countries have this indication legalized, as is the case in Mozambique and the truth is that every 4 minutes around the world, especially in more unprotected areas, where home births predominate and there are no adequate medical resources, it occurs maternal death, notably due to postpartum hemorrhages. The question is, whether the use of misoprostol could help to reduce this maternal mortality.
Due to the importance of the theme, this was the last theme of this cycle, reporting the experience of Mozambique with the experience of professionals in the area showing their professional experience.
